The Gossip Bench: me2me is an interactive installation that tells the story of a woman who awaits a call that never comes from her friend-turned-lover.
Audience members are invited to sit at her gossip bench, listen to her unanswered voicemails and read the scribblings of her mind as she waits.
Jenna’s installation The Gossip Bench: me2me was first displayed in FiveFolds group show in July 2023. From there, she was asked to exhibit it in 2 other group shows that same summer. ‘The Kahrites’ curated by The Piecepallet and at All At Once pop-up show where she was exhibiting alongside selected female artists as well as taking part in an artist panel talk.
